Paint Condition Disclaimer

Film performance depends on the condition and preparation of the surface underneath.

Original factory paint only

This warranty applies only to original factory paint. Applying paint protection film to repainted surfaces or non-OEM parts must be carried out under the advice of a professional installation shop. Any issue or defect arising from a repainted surface is excluded from warranty coverage.

Professional inspection is required before PPF is installed over a repainted surface or non-OEM part.

Maintenance Guide

Correct washing and care help maintain film clarity, surface performance and edge adhesion.

01 / INITIAL CURING

Avoid washing for the first week

Do not wash the vehicle within 1 week after installation. This allows the adhesive and paint surface to achieve optimal adhesion.

02 / PRESSURE WASHING

Never aim directly at film edges

Do not point a high-pressure water jet directly at the film edges. Keep the spray at a safe angle and distance.

03 / TOOLS & CHEMICALS

Use gentle cleaning methods

Avoid hard brushes and corrosive chemical agents. A soft wash tool and a pH-neutral automotive cleaner are recommended.

04 / SURFACE CARE

Prevent scratches and abrasion

Avoid scratching the film with hard objects or scrubbing with force. Abrasive marks can affect appearance and performance.

05 / ROUTINE CARE

Schedule care once each quarter

Regular maintenance of the film surface is recommended once every quarter. Polishing the film surface is not recommended.

06 / CONTAMINANTS

Remove corrosive deposits immediately

Immediately clean acid rain, bird droppings, insect residue, tree sap and oil stains. Extended exposure may damage the top coating and reduce performance.

07 / SPECIAL DECOR

Protect the film during celebrations

Do not apply suction cups directly to the film surface on wedding cars or other specially decorated vehicles.

08 / RESIDUE REMOVAL

Clean ribbons and residue within 12 hours

Ribbons, fireworks or firecracker residue can stain the film and must be cleaned and treated within 12 hours.

09 / GENERAL CARE

Avoid harsh automatic brush car washes

For routine care, hand washing with clean water, a soft wash mitt and a pH-neutral automotive cleaner is the safer option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers covering activation, reported defects, washing and surface suitability.

When does PPF warranty coverage begin?
After installation, request an electronic warranty card from the installation shop. Coverage begins from the effective date shown on that card.
What should I do if I notice bubbling, peeling, cracking or yellowing?
Keep the film unchanged and contact the installation shop or seller that issued the warranty card. Do not peel, cut, polish or aggressively clean the affected area before it has been reviewed. Prepare the warranty card, purchase or installation records, and clear wide and close-up photos.
Is bubbling caused by high-pressure washing covered?
Bubbling caused by high-pressure water jetting along the film edges is excluded. During washing, never aim a high-pressure water jet directly at the film edges.
How soon can I wash the vehicle, and what care should I avoid?
Avoid washing within 1 week after installation. After that, avoid direct high-pressure washing at the edges, hard brushes, corrosive chemicals, forceful scrubbing and polishing of the film surface. Remove acid rain, bird droppings, insect residue, tree sap and oil stains immediately.
Does the warranty cover film applied over repainted surfaces?
The warranty applies only to original factory paint. Applying PPF to repainted surfaces or non-OEM parts must be carried out under professional shop advice, and issues arising from repainted surfaces are excluded from warranty coverage.
